It features a central living space, the main lodge, situated between the chalet-style bedrooms. The main lodge, with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room, and bar area, opens out to a boma, complete with an outdoor dining area, pool, and fire pit beneath the stars. All of these facilities overlook the reserve, where it’s not uncommon to see elephants strolling by on their way to the watering hole.

The lodge is elegantly decorated in a subtle African style, with colours that reflect the muted tones of the surrounding bush. Immersed in an indigenous garden, creating a seamless connection between the reserve and the lodge, this 4 double-bedroomed lodge provides the space and serenity to make memories with those you love.

The indoor lounge has large, comfortable leather couches and a discreet flat-screen TV with a full DSTV / cable bouquet. The interior dining table comfortably seats 12 guests. The open-plan kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, a gas hob, an electric oven, and a double-door fridge-freezer, creates a spacious and inviting atmosphere for cooking and entertaining. A separate scullery area behind the kitchen allows for an uncluttered cooking experience. The main living space can be enclosed and air-conditioned in Summer or warmed with an indoor open fire in winter as needed.

The adjacent bar area includes an ice machine, wine cooler, and drinks fridge, as well as a pool table and dartboard for added entertainment. This space opens up to an additional outdoor area with a jacuzzi.

The thatched roof keeps the lodge space cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Stackable wooden doors can be folded back, creating a harmonious connection between the indoors and outdoors. The main living area and the chalet-style bedroom accommodations are completely separate, allowing for a stay that can be restful and quiet when desired, or lively and social as the mood allows.
